I Decided to make this post its own page so that any who is interested or has any comments on things to bring gold mining, or even how to find gold this would be the place to do it.
With the below list and a bit of determination you should be able to successfully find some gold.

HI,
ReplyDeleteI found your site through Linkedin. I love the idea but sit around and don't do anything, like most people I guess. I'm also a professional photographer and would love to do a photo essay that might run in a magazine. I live in Eagle River, so if you know anyone in the area that would like to have a photo essay to share with family and friends have them drop me a line. My site is http://www.artwithinnature.com

Mark you have a fabulous site, very good photos. I am not sure what a photo essay is, if you could explain a bit more to help me understand what it consists of I would appreciate it. By the way thanks for visiting the site
ReplyDeleteHi Robert,I found your site off Ebay, when I purchased some of your dirt yesterday...I just started out looking for gold last month,Here in ohio about all we can expect is some flour gold ,maybe a picker once in a while.I built my own box sluice last week, seems to work fine, just waiting on the weather and water to calm down so i can hit the rivers and streams,I will be checking in to see how things are going later in the season,Dave
ReplyDeleteHow did you do with the dirt? Were you happy with the purchase? I have spent a lot of time in Ohio, Mainly the Findlay and Lima areas. I never did get time to go out looking for gold while I was there but the thought was in the back of my mind. Have you found any exposed bedrock on any of the creeks there, do you know how much overburden there is before you get to the bedrock? With the heavy rains you guys get down there I would bet that you would have the best luck just running the material that is sitting right on bedrock and ignoring the rest. I would be interested to hear how you do and how deep you have to dig to find gold. I love to hear other prospectors stories.
DeleteIt is about time to start mining again up here, I am getting really excited. We built a new wash plant this winter, about twice the size of the last one. I will be starting to update again soon. you can follow the site, or follow me on google+ to get updates.
Thanks for checking in
